Extrusion

Extrusion's, also referred to as LED profiles, are channels or guides made to house LED modules or LED strip . The extrusion acts as an architectural heatsink in various shapes and sizes. Extrusions can also be used to integrate data and communication wiring, not just light sources.

LED modules and flexible strips are a circuit board populated by surface mounted light emitting diodes (SMD LEDs).
